First Baptist Havana Youth Group 

In the past few years our students have become leaders in First Baptist's missions endeavors. 

During Spring Break 2000, youth   

  from FBCH headed off to their very 

  first mission trip.  During their seven-day trip to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, they met a lot of new people and were able to experience first hand what it is like to do missions work.  The mornings were spent inviting 'city dwellers' to revival services and the afternoons were given to leading chapel time and Backyard Bible Study.

Raleigh. N.C. was the site of their next Missions Adventure.   In the Summer of 2001 ten of our youth joined forces with "World Changers"  to work in the community painting and re-roofing houses.  During this week, each student had numerous opportunities to meet new people and to share with them the love of Jesus.  It was an 'awesome' trip!

Our youth also work very hard in their own community.  Every third Wednesday night the youth meet together as a Dare-to-Share group where they enjoy a short devotional and learn verses that will help them talk to their friends and family about Jesus and His love for us.
